Except
for people in Kansas*, humans are descended from apes. The simians have
hair all over their bodies, don't use deodorant, and have sex in public.
Other than that they are much like humans. Except that they don't have
language. Or cars. And they don't play bocce. And some of them still have
tails.
*According to Kansas' legislature, Kansans are descended from Adam and Eve who only began procreation when the world was created about 6,000 years ago. Consequently, the rest of humanity has a 4.2 million year head start (give or take 6,000 years) on them in evolving. We understand that many Kansans now own automobiles and some have already begun using deodorants.
